Our Vision
Redcar House of Worship is a Christian community devoted to ministering to the Lord. From a place of worship and God’s Presence, we believe His transforming life will overflow — renewing hearts, our town, and beyond.
We want to establish regular rhythms of worship and prayer throughout the week.
We want to create a space where anyone can encounter God’s presence.
We want to Let the life of the Holy Spirit flow outward in love, justice, and transformation across our community.
Our STORY
Redcar House of Worship began as a collaborative Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) between the United Reformed Church (URC) and Redcar Baptist Church. We are part of both denominations. After Covid, the URC congregation meeting in this building was facing the real possibility of closure. Yet there was a faithful determination not to abandon this neighbourhood, but to trust God for a way to continue offering the hope and love of Jesus here.
Redcar Baptist Church, already connected through a warm pastoral relationship, offered support. A group of people from RBC committed themselves to walk with the URC to build something new for the glory of God. Out of that shared faith, friendship, and obedience, Redcar House of Worship was formed.

that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
